I finally knew what to say
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) International CEO Angus Clelland travelled across the Tasman for his first visit to MHFA Aotearoa.
Whether you’re looking to help adults, young people, or colleagues at work, we have the right training for you.
Our Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course is for adults who want to support other adults. This face-to-face two-day training equips people with the skills and knowledge to support other adults across a diversity of settings and populations when they are experiencing a mental health crisis or challenge.
Our Workplace Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course builds on our Standard course to help create a mentally healthier workplace. Delivered as blended learning, it combines online and in-person training to equip managers and staff at every level with the skills and knowledge to support colleagues experiencing a mental health crisis or challenge.
Our Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course is for adults who support young people aged 11 to 18. This face-to-face training equips parents, teachers, whānau, youth workers and others with the skills, knowledge and confidence to support a young person experiencing a mental health crisis or challenge.
Our Refresher course is for people who have completed a Standard or Workplace MHFA course and want to keep their skills current. This shorter session revisits the evidence-based action plan and refreshes your knowledge and confidence, and helps maintain your MHFAider accreditation.
Share your knowledge and become a accredited MHFA instructor creating a movement in our communities, schools and workplaces.
